![]() ![]() Somehow, I wish Sarah Andersen gave us something new, different, fresh. ![]() I can’t exactly say Adulthood is a Myth is 100% hilarious, but it’s definitely relatable. Strips that I also enjoyed were the ones about internet comment threads, running into former highschool classmates, and how one never really feels grown up even at age 85 (adulthood is a myth indeed). ![]() I particularly enjoyed the comic strip about social media: how it’s like someone shouting through a megaphone, talking unnecessarily about eating a burger just to get attention. I did chuckle when I got to some pages, some parts of the comic that didn’t make it to her IG page (or that I missed if they did), because it was sooo relatable. Reading this comic was exactly like rereading her posts on Instagram, it lost its magic touch because I’m already familiar with Andersen’s comics (especially the adulting ones). If I wasn’t already a follower of Sarah Andersen’s comics on Instagram I would have highly recommended this book. Genre: Nonfiction (Graphic Novel, Comics, Webcomics) ![]()
